Here are Dugout Report’s predictions for the major 2011 MLB awards.  Sure there are still three weeks left in the season, but why wait?  The mainstream media doesn’t.

AL Cy Young: Justin Verlander, Detroit Tigers

AL Rookie of the Year: Jeremy Hellickson, Tampa Bay Rays

AL Comeback Player of the Year: Jacoby Ellsbury, Boston Red Sox

AL Manager of the Year: Jim Leyland, Detroit Tigers


NL MVP: Matt Kemp, Los Angeles Dodgers

NL Cy Young: Clayton Kershaw, Los Angeles Dodgers

NL Rookie of the Year: Freddie Freeman, Atlanta Braves

NL Comeback Player of the Year: Lance Berkman, St. Louis Cardinals
